Safari extensions need to be manually enabled. Here is how:
- Open Safari
- Go to Safari > Settings > Extensions (or Preferences > Extensions on older macOS)
- Find Share Product in the list
- Check the box to enable it
- Make sure "Allow on all websites" is selected
The icon should now appear in your Safari toolbar! Download the Safari version from the homepage.
I had trouble enabling it too! Here's the step-by-step that worked for me:
On Mac with Safari:
- Open Safari → Preferences (or Safari → Settings in newer macOS)
- Go to the "Extensions" tab
- Find "Share Product" in the list
- Check the box to enable it
- You might need to click "Allow" when Safari asks for permission
If you don't see it:
- Make sure you downloaded it from the Mac App Store or their website
- Try restarting Safari
- Check System Preferences → Security & Privacy → Extensions
Once enabled, you should see the Share Product icon in your Safari toolbar. Click it on any product page to save!
I use Safari on my MacBook and it took me a minute to figure this out. Here's what I did:
After installing Share Product, Safari didn't automatically enable it. I had to:
- Go to Safari menu → Settings
- Click "Extensions" in the sidebar
- Toggle Share Product to "On"
- Grant permissions when prompted
Pro tip: If the extension icon doesn't appear in your toolbar, right-click the toolbar and make sure "Share Product" is checked in the customization menu.
Now it works perfectly! I can save products from any site in Safari.
