How do I install the Share Product extension?

Download the extension from our website and drag the .crx file into your Chrome browser, or install it from the Chrome Web Store. After installation, you'll see the Share Product icon in your browser toolbar.
Is the extension free to use?

Yes, Share Product is completely free to use. There are no hidden fees or premium features - all functionality is available to all users.
Which browsers are supported?

Currently, Share Product is designed for Google Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers (Edge, Brave, etc.). We're working on support for Firefox and Safari.
Usage & Features
How do I collect products from Amazon?

Simply browse Amazon product pages and click the Share Product extension icon. The extension will automatically detect the product and add it to your collection. You can also manually select products from search results.
Can I share my collection with others?

Yes! Click "Export Collection" and choose "Short Link" to generate a shareable URL. Anyone with the link can view your collection and see the products you've selected.
What export formats are available?

Currently, we support Short Link (recommended) and Text formats. The Short Link creates a beautiful web page with your products, while Text format provides a simple list for easy sharing.
Can I add notes to products?

Yes! When viewing your shared collection, you can click on any product to add personal notes. These notes are visible to anyone who views your shared link.
Privacy & Security
Is my data secure?

Yes, we take privacy seriously. Your product collections are stored locally in your browser and only shared when you explicitly create a share link. We don't collect personal information or track your browsing habits.
Can I delete my shared collections?

Shared links remain active until you manually delete them. You can manage your shared collections through the extension's settings. Deleted collections are permanently removed from our servers.
Does the extension track my browsing?

No, Share Product only accesses Amazon product pages when you actively use the extension. We don't track your browsing history or collect any personal data beyond what's necessary for the extension to function.
Troubleshooting
The extension isn't working on Amazon pages

Make sure you're on a valid Amazon product page (URL should contain /dp/ or /gp/product/). Try refreshing the page and clicking the extension icon again. If the issue persists, try reinstalling the extension.
My shared link isn't working

Check that the link URL is correct and complete. Shared links are case-sensitive. If the link still doesn't work, the collection may have been deleted or expired. Try creating a new share link.
The extension icon is missing from my toolbar

Right-click on your Chrome toolbar and make sure "Share Product" is checked. If it's not listed, go to chrome://extensions/ and ensure the extension is enabled. You may need to pin it to your toolbar.
