Does Share Product track price drops and notify me of sales?

I added items to my wishlist 2 weeks ago. Will I get notified if the prices drop during Black Friday?

Currently, Share Product does not have built-in price tracking. It is primarily a wishlist organizer and sharing tool.

However, you can manually check your shared link to see current prices. For price tracking, you might want to combine it with tools like CamelCamelCamel (for Amazon) or Honey.

Share Product doesn't have automatic price alerts, but here's what I do instead:

My manual tracking method:

  • Check my wishlist once a week (Sunday mornings)
  • Click through items to see current prices
  • Compare to what I saved originally
  • Buy when prices drop

Why this actually works better:

  • I'm not bombarded with price alert emails
  • I can see the full context (product, notes, other options)
  • I can compare prices across multiple stores
  • Takes only 5-10 minutes per week

Pro tip: I add notes like "waiting for 30% off" so I know my target price when checking.

While automatic alerts would be nice, this manual method works great for me!

I combine Share Product with Honey (browser extension) for the best of both worlds:

My setup:

  1. Save items to Share Product wishlist
  2. Honey tracks prices and sends alerts
  3. When I get a Honey alert, I check my Share Product list
  4. I can see all my options and compare stores

Why this combo works:

  • Honey handles price tracking and alerts
  • Share Product handles wishlist organization
  • Best of both tools!

This way I get price alerts AND a unified wishlist. Perfect solution!

Note: Share Product and Honey don't integrate automatically, but using both together is seamless.

I wish it had automatic price tracking, but honestly, the manual checking isn't that bad. Here's what I do:

I check my Share Product list once a week (usually Sunday mornings with coffee). Since all my items are in one place, it takes maybe 5 minutes to click through and see current prices.

I've found that this actually works better for me than price alerts because:

  • I can see the full context (product image, my notes)
  • I'm not getting bombarded with emails
  • I can compare prices across stores easily

Maybe they'll add price alerts in the future, but for now, this workflow works great!

I use Share Product with Honey (the browser extension) for price tracking. Here's my combo:

  1. Save items to Share Product wishlist
  2. Honey tracks prices and sends alerts
  3. When I get an alert, I check my Share Product list to see all my options

This way I get the best of both worlds - price alerts AND a unified wishlist. Works perfectly for me!

Note: Share Product doesn't integrate with Honey automatically, but using both together is seamless.
